I plugged the usb casing with the drive in it and everything that's on it appears on the working computer, problem solved! Thanks guys 8)

Repairing the OS is well beyond my means. I know what I am capable of. I would have thought connecting the drive by the means of my usb casing is just the same as connecting as a slave and don't see the point of ripping apart a perfectly working PC and risk damaging that one also Cheers

Hi, I am putting a telly on the wall and need to buy the tool that can check what is behind the plasterboard (electrical wires, wood, pipes etc) so I can plan how to conceal the tv wires. It is a handheld device and usually makes a noise when it detects something behind the wall. Thanks

I need to purchase anti virus software and was wondering, from your personal experience, what is the best one out there. I currently use the free AVG version but am thinking of getting Norton or McAfee...well I dont know any more after them! Any help greatly appreciated, thanks

I'm moving into a new flat soon and want to install my slim-line dishwasher, although there is not a space allocated for this. I am considering removing one of the base units to make room for this and was just wondering if this would be possible and if there is anything I need to consider? Thanks

Thanks Quick Fit...I was able to fix the lock by simply spraying wd40 into it, it works as new now. To think for 6 months I have been using the passengers door to open/lock it every time :oops: :oops:
