    The cyl has stainless steel fittings, basicly an externally threaded pipe, the inside diameter takes a 22 mm pipe & it is secured by a compression nut & olive. If this fitting has a 3/4" compression nut, then thats what I want...

    Searched hi & lo for this compression nut, fits DHW cylinder. None at local plumbers merchants. Compression nut which accepts a 22 mm pipe & olive, but has a 3/4" BSP thread.

    Yes, I see now how the temp could be a factor, forgot all about C of LE, learned that 40 years ago, I think now its stable i`l re boost it to max (3 bar mains) & wait & see. The only place I can imagine water leaking is into the heating coils, so i`l test it again. If it drops again I think...

    No m8, the temperature of the small room has been pretty much the same all week, I haven't had a temp gauge in there. If you guys say its fine then i`m cool with that, it just seemed a lot to me.

    Thank you, I was concerned at the loss of pressure, but haven't found a drop of water anywhere. I just don't understand why the pressures dropped.

    Logical, except I drained the cyl to replace the mains inlet. It was filled with cold water & the pressure is still dropping, but still no leaks??

    Right, thanks, basicly, I am testing my cylinder. The top dhw outlet pipe has a pressure gauge & bleed nipple. Mains cold is fed into the cyl mains inlet, through a stop tap, & the cylinder filled. The cyl heating coil pipe connectors are disconnected & open. I pressurise the cyl up to 3 bar...

    Sand faced tiles. Removing the grout

    If the grout is cement based, then you can use a cement & mortar cleaner, apply with a paintbrush & give them a scrub, wash off with clean water. Dont leave the cleaner on the grout lines too long.
