CH hit water Programmer off. Tank still sounds like it is on, boiler on intermittently despite no programmer. Some rads hot others not. I am thinking 2 port valve issue? Also heating overide on programmer does not start heating. HW it does? How to test for fault?

Grant boiler will not fire when override switch is pressed on programmable unit. I have replaced programmable unit but still not working. It is working within timings and the hot water override works on demand. Any ideas what to check next? Thanks
