Sounds like plumbers mait, another cowboys favourite is silicone (but that doesnt work either).
Sounds like the rubber has dislodged from the pan connector. You could try and push the rubber in bit more or take it out and redo it properly. You'll need to clean all that gunk off though...
As Richard said earlier, if the basin waste has a seperate branch then it won't matter if the AAV is lower than the basin waste because in this case the spill over level is the shower tray.
It can be done as long as there is space under the bath for access to the taps etc and correct fall on the soil. I would avoid this if the soil pipe has to go round a bend though. I wouldnt use flexible connections anywhere on the soil pipe either.
If a closed valve 'stomped' your plumber, then I would be a little concerned about the quality of the system he put in. :!:
I may be wrong and he might be the b****x. :D
You say you think that was done so you're not really sure? Maybe there are isolation valves under the floorboards that are turned off? Maybe unlikely but possible?
An air admittance valve is connected to the top of a stub/stack pipe. Its job is to let air in and is usually used if the stack can't be vented or if its a stub stack. I don't understand why it would be connected to a wardrobe? Can you take a picture of it?
If your boiler does not have an internal trap on the condense then you will need to incorporate one. A self sealing or inline trap or HepVo trap looks like this:
You buy a 15mm compression bend and use this type of internal reducer.

Are you sure the 10mm inlet is not the internal diameter of the 15mm fitting? Have you tried tap connector type...
Try turning the TRV setting down on that rad and closing the lockshield valve more so that it restricts water to that radiator and forcing water to others.
Heard this mentioned a few times. Just curious how one goes from an apprentice/mate to a time served plumber and how many years they have to put up with the apprentice status.
Cheers
