I'm installing a toilet. The inlet on the ball valve is 10mm and, because it's a space-saver type toilet, I can't find a 15mm ball valve that'll fit inside the cistern.

Does anyone know anywhere that sells a chrome compression elbow that's 15mm on one end and and 10mm on the other? Chap at B&Q said use one of those braided flexible tap connectors but I'm hoping to find something a little 'prettier'.

You buy a 15mm compression bend and use this type of internal reducer.

The inlet on the ball valve is that nylon plastic stuff, threaded. Would this work?

Are you sure the 10mm inlet is not the internal diameter of the 15mm fitting? Have you tried tap connector type fitting to see if it fits? Somthing like this (last item) http://www.h-i-e.co.uk/acatalog/Compression_Isolating_Ballofix_Valve.html[/QUOTE]

Yes a tap connector fits - thread's the right size and everything.

What size tap con? 15mm? If you dont want flexis then get something like the one I linked, should be fine.
