    Damp-proof course & plastering

Hello On my 1900-odd house on a section of the wall part of the brick work below the DPC has been knocked around a fair bit. I am getting the house repointed and the builder suggested plastering over the bottom and up to the DPC to tidy it up. Now that would make it look better, however I...

Gravity fed vs mains pressure systems

So the strangely helpful people at Affinity let me know that the water pressure they are supplying is 4bar. I was concerned about the flow rate/diameter of mains pipe I have but having carried out a basic flow test into the sink in the utility room (where the cylinder is/will be), the result...

Shower lacking presure following new Monsoon 2.0bar twin

Hello, I have a shower with flow powered by a Monsoon pump in the room below. The pump failed about a month or two ago now after a couple of weeks of irregular operation. Ideally, after turning the shower on the flow would start slowly and then the pump would or kick in a few seconds later...

    Hudson Reed sealing screw leak

Also is this a common problem? Should I be wary of just replacing the screw in case it happens again?

    Hudson Reed sealing screw leak

Ok, so you think the issue is with the shower valve rather than the installation? Given the cost of repair could be c. £500 (might have to replace all the wallpaper), im guessing the best ill get from the manufacturer is a new screw?

    Hudson Reed sealing screw leak

Hello, Looking for some advice please. Had my bathroom revamped by a builder nearly 2 months ago and had a Hudson Reed Twin Concealed Thermostatic Shower Valve (A3099C) installed upstairs. Had the downstairs toilet redocrated at the same time. Wallpapered. This morning, 7 weeks later...
