I believe its ok to use what primer undercoat you choose too unless the topcoat states you have to use a specific basecoat, I always used Zinsser with no issues. Most paint tins have advice line phone numbers on them so you could check with them direct, they normally are very helpful in my...

Thanks Londoner1 for the reply, this insulation is for between the external and internal wall and looking at the plans the void is 100mm, so not sure if I could fit anything thicker but I guess it would compact slightly.

I reacon it is the DHW thermistor, i had the same problems and i changed the DHW thermistor which cost me about £25 for part and 15 mins to fit. Hoppe you get to have a bath soon, lol
