    Crack in acrylic bath rim.

Many thanks for reply. Unfortunately the cracks are too near the top to drill beyond them. Will just have to leave it alone. Serves me right for not checking thoroughly on delivery. Very poor quality in every regard.

    Crack in acrylic bath rim.

Any help appreciated please. I bought an acrylic bath in February and after delivery stored in spare room. Only started to fit today and have noticed 3 small cracks on rim on bath tap end but very close to corner like it has been dropped. Once fitted and siliconed I am pretty sure it will be...

Many thanks securespark. That worked and all back to normal. I checked the downstairs switch and red and black were in L1 and L2 and not L1 and COM as I originally posted. Sorry for late reply but have only read it today and just done it. Thanks again.

    Nicotine stains.

Sorry if reply is a bit late but I had similar a few years ago and washed with sugar soap. Was told to use Zinsser B.I.N. I did so and have had no bleed through. Bit pricey but did the job fine. Had already bought some to prime a previously varnished cladded ceiling in porch prior to painting...

    Switch wiring.

Unable to post a pic I'm afraid. The red and black between both switches go into L1 and Com respectively. Think the problem lies with the way I'm wiring the wires that go off to the light. Not sure which terminals those wires should be in. Made a mental note as I was taking old one off and then...

Thanks for the reply John. Sorry for the delay. Have had tonsillitis from hell. I'm still not sure which thickness tape is the best one to go for. Not sure what the ideal gap should be between inside face of glass and frame. May just go for 2mm.

Hi. Just a quick question regarding replacing misted up units into hardwood frames. I am about to order some security glazing tape using the dry glazing method. The tape comes in 2,3,4mm etc. thicknesses and compresses about 20%. What should be the ideal mm gap between glass and frame when...
