my guess is that this boiler is approx twenty years old? Will be lucky if you can get parts for it, and if you can this time, after paying for labour and parts, who's to say it might only last a month before something else goes, and all been a waste of money. If i had a twenty year old car...

Anybody know where i can get the manufactures instructions for this boiler? Prob is with it, it starts to leak when the heating is on from the back of the boiler, but never when water is on. Is this boiler just an early model of another more recent model?

yeah i saw where it should have been wired, dam! i'll have to run a new wire from other end of house to boiler from pump now! The bosch boiler says it must be wired to boiler. Cheers.

cheers Kev, so the pump can be left wired in the control center? Will it not over heat then?

What are the negative if any of fitting a boiler with out wiring in the pump to the boiler and leaving it wired into the control center? Old boiler was an ideal Elan 2 New bolier is a Worcester bosch 24RI Should the old boiler have had the pump wired to the boiler?

yeah i have, they look ok, but cant work out which is the brake lights fuse and why the interior lights also now dont work. Are they off the same fuse?

ok, seems strange sometimes cause only difference between some boliers is the size of the sec heat exch, such as the 24i junior and the 28i junior.(worc bosch)

is it possible to upgrade from 24 to 28 by changing secondary heat exchanger???

same with water and heating, starts up, fan , pump run, aps makes, boiler lights then cuts out and repeats the process, never goes to red light or locks out, just keeps going. every now and again it stays on and hot water is available. any ideas?? Ps i changed heating thermistor but still...

yeah i have, cant see which one is for the brake lights tho, but all look ok? are the interior and brake lights on the same fuse??

was the circuit board, common on these, nows theres one board that inter changes with all the past three.

has done it since new, but not that often. heard door seals can be a problam, which is most likely?

anybody know any known faults with this boiler? This one works fine for hours on end then just cuts out and has to be reset to start again? (Was thinking of the pott suprima board fault and wondered if these may have same or similar fault)
