What are the negative if any of fitting a boiler with out wiring in the pump to the boiler and leaving it wired into the control center?

Old boiler was an ideal Elan 2
New bolier is a Worcester bosch 24RI

Should the old boiler have had the pump wired to the boiler?

don't matter

the reason some have is they have a pump overun stat to keep the pump running to stop it overheating after demand has ceased ;)

yeah i saw where it should have been wired, dam! i'll have to run a new wire from other end of house to boiler from pump now!
The bosch boiler says it must be wired to boiler.
Cheers.

if running the wire is a nightmare, could always use a pump overun timer external to the boiler, think baxi make one to fit to problematic bermuda's etc..

pm me if you need part no....

The baxi overrun kit is fairly simple to fit, however, your warantee may not be honoured if the pump isn't wired as per the MIs :( .
