Cheers, Its mearly because I have the 2 tapered fittings already from something else. They are 1" tapered male x 28mm parallel compression elbows.

Ive got a rayburn that has 1" threads for the back boiler. Can I use 1" taperedx28mm fittings in there or will the tapered thread not seal properly? Thanks as always Nick

Should I just use a 15/50 on speed 1 or can you get a smaller pump for smaller systems? All rads are on the same floor as the pump btw. Cheers Nick

Has anyone here done or know how to convert an Oil fired rayburn BACK to Solid Fuel? We are going to buy a used Rayburn and one has come up that was solid fuel originally but converted to oil. How hard would it be to re-convert it? Thanks for any input Nick :D

sorry for the delay. I had a word with an electrician who came to work and he said that in theory, as long as the runs were less than 30m there is no reason 4mm couldnt be used as it is in the new 17th edition whatsit called LOL. So he said to check what length runs the other guy intends to run...

In a domestic environment is it ok to use 4mm T&E for radial circuits using a 32a MCB? Standard rings would be a nightmare in this house. Cheers Nick
