    Toilet cistern leaking into pan

I've inspected the washer but it looks fine? Also, it is contained within the valve as per 1st pic, so how would I ever replace it? I'm pretty sure the cable isn't sticking Any other ideas?

Am trying to help my elderly neighbour out - thought it would be a simple, replace washer type of job, but can't even remove top of tap! It is a smaller, older style basin tap, but it doesn't have the decorative bit on top to take off hiding the screw? Towards the bottom of the tap, there...

OK, so have finally managed to fix the drip :D But, I keep having a look just to make sure, and I have noticed that there is an incredible amount of condensation on the cistern, so much in fact, that it is slowly dripping onto the floor! I am assuming that this is due to the whole cistern...

Hi, My OH's mate has installed new 12 x 50w halogen downlights. These are connected to a 2 gang dimmer switch, the other switch operates a low voltage light in the hallway. The chap did say that we would need to upgrade the switch to cope with 600w as the existing switch was only for 250w...

Help please with PC problem(loading windows)

Hi, the red disk is a system restore disk which will take ALL my settings back to factory. Don't really want to do this as although I don't have a lot of files saved, I wouldn't know how to re-load ISP settings (Blueyonder), they sent someone around to install in the first place & I don't have...
