    I am wanting to change my current cast iron soil stack into plastic. The cast iron stack is 3 1/4" Dia. is it possible to adapt onto this above ground level? so Im not messing about digging up concrete around the bottom of the pipe. all comments and suggestions appreciated. cheers.

    Thank you for your response. the soil pipe is not shared with anything else, just the toilet. and when you look down the nearest inspection chamber, you can see the water coming out (v. slowly) from this toilet, dont really know what else to try. maybe something stuck in the u bend???

    Thank you for the quick response. Sorry I should have stated each basin has its own seperate waste pipe (1" 1/4) do you thinks it is just the pipe dia that is causing the slowness? (the pipe work is not really accesable to alter; under newly tiled floor)
