    cartridge gun products from going hard at the end ??

    How do I stop caulking,no-nails,sealant, filler from going hard at the end of the tube ? Obviously I have tried putting a spare nozzle back on. (that hasn't been cut) Tried the cap that comes with some products, also tried plastic on the end of the tube before fitting the nozzle. Any ideas...

    If running copper to JG pipe would you not just push the copper in to one end of the plastic fitting and JG pipe into the other end. (with the correct insert of course) ? Or Are you saying that JG pipe can be pushed in to a compression fitting ? Not being funny by asking this, I just didnt...

    My neighbour has just had a new fence put in, concrete posts, gravel boards etc. And it seems to me that they have made good job of it. I caught my neighbour lifting up the fence panel the other day and when I went out after him he said he was just getting a ball his children had knocked over...

    is it boiler problem?

    Sounds like the diverter valve is "letting by", ie passing water to radiators when hw on. Diverter valve needs service kit or replacement.

    Sine 18 has a pre-heat switch, just need to turn it off. From memory it's the left hand one of the three switches ? L - R pre-heat - on/off - heating ? Ted
