Insulation Types : Glass wool or Bubble foil stuff

guys, just to let you all know that I opted to use some netting (netline or netlon I think its called) and glass wool. I just cut the glass wool to a size that squeezes in between the joists and then stapled the netting on after I had finished putting the wool up wasnt much fun, but...

Insulation Types : Glass wool or Bubble foil stuff

the bubble stuff is equivalent to 50mm polystyrene though - surely that should stop most draughts? Im not going to be stapling it to the floorboards like I originally said, I will be stapling it to the underside of my joists so that I have an air gap (about 200mm in my case) - will that make...

    Insulating/Sealing UNDER floorboards

but surely some under floor insulation would help too? I should also explain that the previous owners put in some rather rubbish stairs, the job wasnt finished very well and they have draughts at some bits - so the under floor insulation would sort that out a lot as there is parts that I cant...

Pressure at 0 on Worcester 28i Junior Combi Boiler

Pressure at 0 on Worcester 28i Junior Combi Boiler

CrazyAMonkey, I got someone out who works for british gas to look at my boiler and he couldnt find anything wrong with it either. He did get me to test the boiler though by turning off two feeds and the heating for 24 hours, but to still use the hot water during that time. I did that and...
