Make sure the pins are pushed onto the board properly.

Remove batteries from timer.

Hold "override" button in for 5 secs till you get a green light.

Insert batteries in reciever.

Make sure temp on reciever is turned up beyond room temp.

Pull switch down to on.

thanks for the reply. It turns out that I made a mistake when I disconnected my current timer.

The cable that connects my old drayton timer to the boiler has 5 wires - live, neutral, earth and 1 for an LS & LR connection. Apparently this LS & LR connections are needed for the boiler to operate correctly.

Only trouble is I dont know what to do with them now - my d10RF doesnt have any of those connections

can anyone advise me on what to do next?

Thanks

Ive just seen on another thread that I need to 'link' the LR & LS - is that right?

Can someone explain what that means exactly?

Thanks
