guys,
I live in a 1930s bungalow with raised floors. I noticed that under the floorboards of two of my rooms that the ground was covered in a tar like substance.
Someone has mentioned to me that this is a damp treatment, but I dont understand why it would only be in 2 rooms (bedroom & bathroom - the kitchen is at that side of the house and doesnt have it).
the area under the house is bone dry and I see no evidence of damp, and I have about 1-2 feet of area and I dont notice any problems with airflow
can anyone shed some light on this? Is it ok to remove this stuff (it stinks)
do other rooms need it?
thanks
