I,ve been asked to buy an oven and ceramic hob on ebay for some friends in france. apparently its much cheaper over here, even taking getting it couriered over to france; But will it work? i don't know allot of electrickery will a british cooker and hob work on french electricity.

well i found lilion batteries that fit my mikita 14.4 v NiMH tools. I could do with replacing two of my six batteries so i will keep you posted of any problems. I have to have a new charger but it seems to actually work out cheaper than buying two NiMH batteries; will 1400 mah be enough...

yes its a purchase of a charger instead of a three drills an angle grinder, circular and a jigsaw. if i could keep the drills but upgrade the batteries i would be a happy man.

We are replacing part of a lath and plaster ceiling that has fallen in. I am trying to find a supplier of the ceiling decorations but don't know what they are called. I have a cornice (around the wall and ceiling) a rose in the middle but i don't know what to call the decoration plaster...

i have a small lean to roof to slate, four tiles high and 25 long (6mtrs). it is over a bay on a terraced house. all the neighbours have slate but this one is felted. can i baton and slate over the top or do i need to remove the felt and put under tile felt on first?
