    ah yes forgot about them plastic jobs, however is their enough brickwork their to put them in ? whats the reason for putting a stepped flashing in couldn't the brickwork be lower so the lead upstand went straight under the coping ??

    its looks like there is no dpc below copeing stones , and why have they built the brickwork that height ? you cant put a tray in stepped brickwork

    can you post some pics up as from what your saying it dosnt sound to good, your new blockpaving should be below your dpc level and your air bricks should not be blocked

    for 1500 bricks = 1.5 ton for 700 blocks = 0.7 ton so I would go for 3 x tons bags and 25 bags of cement 5 litres of febmix :D

    hello if you were building a chimney stack on a new house, where would you put the lead dpc (s) the chimney is flush with the outside skin and dead center of the roof .

    if the damp is not going inside the house then there is no issues , however if your that woried its quite easy just to insert a dpc in the bed joint 150 mm above the patio. ps if its a tiled patio do not go on it while its wet !!!!
