Do we have an airlock & what do we do?!

Hi, a few weeks ago we had a couple of radiators taken off and put back on for some plastering to be done. When the plumber put them back on he said he'd also turned our pump up to make the radiators more efficient. Since then the hot water taps in the house have gradually been losing pressure...

    Thread stuck in socket!

yeah it's stuck in the back box hole, not the plastic socket front that screws on the wall - otherwise we'd just get a new plastic front! so is it easy to replace the back box, or should we get an electrician in - bearing in mind we are total novices!

Hi, when we took a power socket off the wall we stupidly broke the screw and there is some thread stuck inside the hole in the metal plate where the screw should go in. We've tried pulling it or pushing it out but it won't budge so we can't screw the socket back on the wall at the moment! Any...

no i'm not kidding! excuse my ignorance but we've never had central heating before, only electric. the noise doesn't come from the actual radiators, it's from the pipes upstairs that are connected to the hot water tank. only happens when the thermostat makes the heating come on - it does...

    TV Aerial Problem!

We lost our Sky signal yesterday and have to wait a week for the engineer to come round! We thought we could just plug the aerial cable into our TV and watch terrestrial in the meantime, but it won't fit! There is a funny screw like fixture on it that the engineer put on when he set up Sky and...

Need new front bath panel - any ideas?

Our front bath panel needs replacing, but do the ones you can buy in places like B&Q only fit the suite they come with? If so, does anyone know where we can buy just an individual universal-fitting panel?! Just a plastic white one will do. Thanks
