Hot Water TaP (Downstairs Loo) Becoming Hard to Open

Hi Over the last couple of days I have noticed that the Hot Tap on the basin in the downstairs loo has become increasing hard to open. The amount of turns seems to be decreasing - cannot seem to open the tap on full, worried just incase I break the tap. The flow is just about ok...

Power to loft - Adding spur to MCB / fuse that carries ring

RF Lighting, Does this mean, that based on the same rules of adding a spur to a ring via a socket you should only do it once - unless using an FCU. Does the same apply to the fact that I am planning to add the cable direct to the 32A MCB in the consumer unit and that this should only be done...

    One Radiator is Always Hot

Hi I have noticed that the radiator in one of the bedrooms is always hot / on even when the thermostat on the radiator is set to 0. There seems to be no adjustment on this radiator at all. Now, I cannot remember if I am correct here, but I believe that it did change temperature when I...

    What Hinge is this?

Hi I have a hinge on my uPVC double glazed window that needs replacing as there is a bit too much play that stops the window from closing. Have to give the window a tap to push the inner part of the hinge into place for the window to close. I have been looking on the internet tonight for a...
