i had lead on a usb extension, not sure that would be an issue though? Will put wintex on laptop tomorrow try without an extension to the usb.

I removed smartcom, but it lost all programming so need to connect again with wintex.

So what is best way to proceed, can I not just put it back to a dumb alarm not connected to internet?

I assume the alarm I can just hand over my code and engineer code then new owner can get changed, but with the app can I just disconnect the smartcom from the system, then if new owner wants it they can set it up?

Looking at moving house, how do i register app with new owner? what else do I need to do to hand over to new owner?

Would a Creocote used on new shiplap be better than using say a cuprinol ducksback paint?
