    5/6 lighting circuit

Is a 5/6 lighting circuit not quite as good as a 6/6 one? :D

    RCCBO's and computers

This is a repeat post, the topic already exists further down the page. I should have told the OP to have the thread moved instead of reposting in Electrics Uk.

    RCCBO's and computers

I would say you need less computers on each circuit. Try posting in "electrics uk" there are plenty of guys there who know more about circuits with high leakage currents.

    Cable stripper

While I agree that the cheesewire method of stripping T&E cable isn't the best I don't believe in this stretching the cpc business. I didn't believe it when I was told about it 20 odd years ago and I don't believe it now. In all my time installing, maintaining and testing T&E installations I...

    A day in the life...

Adding an RCD to a consumer unit

Those rcbos don't fit the qos board. Most electrical wholesalers can get hold of the one you want but make sure you're sitting down when they give you the price

    R1+R2

I regulary use the Wago lever type connectors for continuity testing on PIRs. They are quick and make a good connection, no twisting then having to straighten conductors or screwing/unscrewing connector blocks. I think they are great for testing and fault finding, not sure about them for...

    Tools you cannot work without?

I have a bush king which is about 20 years old, doesn't fit the modern lighter gauge bushes too well. Still ok stripping out older stuff. Don't know whether the new ones are a different size.
