    My mums house has still got the old fuse wire fuses, was looking to get the Wylex push-in MCBs on the fuses it has 30a 5a 45a on the Wylex mcbs i've seen, they have 6a, 32a and i can only see 40a ones not 45a is it ok to change them out? will the Wylex mcbs fit a Memera board?

    can you lap them?, so one is 50mm out of line of the other one? if they're in different rooms no one will see they're not fully in line with each other also, if you're kit panels that are 140x38, is that the norm nom? I'm always used to 50mm thick (45 reg)

    are the joints wet just near the wallplate on the external wall? if they are, check to see the level of what is on the outside (earth/slab etc), it maybe too high and above the DPC level and letting moisture in through your wall

    yip, the steel beam should be under the ceiling ties to support them and to cut down the span as for the ridge height, don't make it too low, as you'll then struggle to get tiles etc for the degrees they work on

    i was advised not to have a room stat either, we just control the radiators with the TRVs Think it was because of the position of it and it was in our hall/stairwell and the big lockshielded radiator being not too far from it, i just took the installers advice

    as above said, you have a leaking roof, it's not condensation PS, you also don't have any sarking, you look to have rafters then roofing membrane, tile batons....
