Hi all again, Current room is all matt emulsion,we wish to repaint 3 walls and ceiling matt emulsion again,no problem,however 4th wall will be papered with "paste the wall"wallpaper and ive never used this!Do i sand it,size it as normal?What about overlap of paste on painted...

Thanks for that spice,however went back to the job this morning,tried to apply the grout with pen but it wouldnt adhere to the gloss which was applied to the grout (as directed on the tin) customer was happy to leave it though,tiles look well.We live and learn...

Hi all,was asked to cover some dark green and red tiles in a kitchen with tile paint,have duly done,2 coats primer 1 gloss,however she wants me to go over the grout lines with a grouting pen.Has anyone every tried this and does it work?I was really surprised as to how well the tiles actually...

Hi all,tried to burn a rad off today that was peeling badly with my heat gun,wasnt very good!! to add the gun works fine burnt a double garage door off recently no probs.Is the paint now baked on so i cannot shift it?Got all the loose bits but looks unsightly,even after a good sanding...

Just to say have layed the laminate was a real ball ache though!!Took 3 off us to lift the beam and chair high enough to allow room to lay the laminate.Had to lift and resecure the beam approx 5" to allow access.Never again!!!!! Paul :wink: :wink:

Hi all intend to laminate my hall removed old carpet by releasing all bolts and lifting stairlift slightly i.e. all the main beam up a bit.However when i come to laminate underneath i will need to lift the beam and stairlift a fair bit higher,is there a easy way to do this,was very heavy to move...
