    Its more temperamental than ever now, doesnt turn on first time, then on and back off, then on with stuttering water action, this is electrical cos I can see light goin on and off in new relay shutdown, any chance of a replybefore I give up and replace it

    Or is there a way of bypassing phased shut down to remedy this problem, and just switch the shower to coolest setting to switch it off?

    Well ive replaced the part suggested, buti still have a similar problem,,problem seemed remedied initially, butnow the shower still switches off maybe half a dozen times, then stays on with something that sound's like (but im 100% certain it isnt) water hammer for upto 5 mins, then works fine...

    Hi, shower was intermittent, on for 5 secs then off, eventually it would stay on, however, after a few months of this, got a spark friend in but could not identify problem, now it has given up and I cannot switch it on at all, any takers?? Thanks steve

    Cheers Ree, there is minimal stain on ceiling below, I imagine plasterboard/finish surrounding the sides of the tray are compromised, but I guess im gonna have to investigate further, it means removing the tray presumably :-(

    decided to re seal around shower tray, ended up stripping all tiles and removing whole enclosure!! so my skimmed moisture board has been getting a bit of a soaking due to poor grouting/sealing.....i have left it to dry out for 24 hours and and very few areas feel compromised, i plan to leave it...
