Drainage System for Flooding On Drive Way

So finally Highways have booked in to repair the gulley, I just ned to create the sufficient slope to allow runoff. What should i do to create this, & what aggregate would be best to ensure most of the water runs off rather than soaks in- I know tarmac is no good as planning permission is needed...

    Flooded Driveway Drainage

Cheers for that, i am considering just terminating to a soakaway / general lawn area in the back where its not a problem, would this work? The gulley seems to have sunk in part and as a result of this the continuity of it is broken by my drive, allowing it to discharge all over my drive!

    Ravenheat Boiler Issues

You shouldnt need to drain the whole system, just use the isolator valve. The pressure switch will be at the top corner next to the fan and have some rubber pipes going to it- not sure if you would be able to do this one without a gas safe qualification though... i personally wouldnt risk it...

    Ravenheat Boiler Issues

Could be coincidence, or it could be corroded?, the plug just pulls off and a spanner unscrews the nut / sensor (but make sure you have de pressurised first / drained it or you will get very wet! This just tells the boiler's pcb "hey, its hot enough now, you can cut down the gas / shut it off"
