Had clutch cable & plastic clip changed a year or so back so clutch is fairly light & smooth, but still experiencing stiff/Clunky gear change. Any ideas folks ?
Had to get the towels & bucket out again yesterday.
Whenever there's any driving rain/wind, it finds it's way between the lintel stone & the top of the patio door frame.
No doubt others will get this during such weather.
Can anyone suggest a good sealant to cure this ?
Thanks.
Very sound advice Avocet. Thankyou.
I think I'll wait until I'm better equipped to keep one, garage, expense etc.
There's a good Citroen Guy called Ray Calvert at C&C motors near to us.
He's doing up a D Super 5 at the moment.
Thanks, that's very useful. I heard that the D Super 5 was the best option.
How about the no garage issue. Could that be a problem ?
Also what do I need to spend to get a sound every day runner ?
Just wondering if anyone might be able to roughly value my 1999 T Xantia Hatchback Sensation.
Around 90,000 miles.
Work done in last year or so...
New complete exhaust
New clutch cable & clip.
some new tyres
New powered steering LHM pipe just fitted
MOT until May 2010
VG - EX Cond...
I'm thinking of doing the same. About 11 Sq metre's of concrete slab patio. Been down for about 20 years & wanting to overlay with Indian Stone. There's plenty of distance from damp course & air bricks too.
Be a sight easier than taking the slabs up.
I'm needing a new set of wheeltrims for my Citroen Xantia.
The confusion comes when I see trims advertised for Xantias in both 14 & 15". Also, my tyres are R15 which I presume means 15", but I read somewhere that 15" tyres need 14" trims :? :? :?
There's a coil of pipe pointing downwards that you can see if you look under the car just inside of the front n/s wheel.
The LHM seems to gather on that coil & also on part of the inner wheel arch. Nothing dripping over the tyre/wheel though.
My 1999 Xantia has a LHM fluid leak that drips on the near side part of the engine. Drips appear on the ground near the front NS wheel arch area.
Any suggestions/guidance welcome
Our crazy paving is in need of re-pointing in certain areas & I just read some info on brushing a dry mix into the joints & leaving it to dry through ground moisture etc. I didn't know about this method but it would be a sight easier than with a wet mix.
I'd like to hear anyones opinions/tips...
Don't know if I'm on the right thread here, but I'm looking for a Digital camera for around £80. I've had the HP Photosmart M425 recommended but other opinions are very welcome
Cheers.
That's the one thing that holds me back from getting a DS.
We don't have a garage so it would have to be kept outside, also I'm not mechanically minded. I hear they need quite a lot of TLC to keep them in good order. There's a guy near us who's a Citroen specialist who's restoring a DS right...
Our roof has asbestos based tiles & also has a lot of moss growth.
We are considering having a cleaning company do it.
I was wondering how much this would be for a med sized mid terrace house.
Weather permitting, I'm going to be pointing in the cracks in my front yard's stone crazy paving this weekend.
I just want to check the best mix ratio for this type of job.
Also, I heard it's good to add PVA to the mix. Is this right ?
My Daughter has an Acer Aspire laptop. On powering up, the lights come on, but no noise & a blank, black screen. First impressions from a guy at work are that it's probably fried & beyond economic repair.
Any comments/similar experiences ?
Thanks
