    Would have to disagree that it needs to be several inches deep, this leads to severe rutting, the base needs to be well compacted hardcore with a thin layer of gravel, [in my opinion]

    Maybe I should have also said that it will not start any cycle, it just shows the fault code, could it be the brushes, if so I can do this, but will I also need to clear the fault code before it will work , if so what is the procedure please?

    My Indesit 1200 WE12 washing machine is showing fault code F9 , help please, is this a DIY fix or is the machine scrap? [5 yars old] It has for the last 12 months sounded like roller bearings breaKing up but has not got any worse and performance has not suffered so probably unrelated fault.

    The old combi and rads were 15 years old, and the water appeared to me to be very black, I do not know if they added inhibitor there does not appear to be any sticker saying so.

    Please read my last post scrit , drill in the corner for access, then cut away from the drilled hole with a jigsaw, enough to get handsaw in then saw away. Do not tell me it will not work, I have done it on many occasions the last time 2 weeks ago.

    I agree the corners need cutting with a jigsaw, after drilling for access but then a hand saw to cut the straight sides.
