Hi, I am looking at caulking wooden exterior windows and doors as can be seen below- I have narrowed the caulk down to the two types above- any thoughts on the best one to use? Thanks

Well with the circumstances you have described it does sound rather tricky to get it perfect. The only other thing would be to post some pics here and get people's thoughts or have another company come out and give you a second opinion.

So I am looking to re-silicone on the outside of doors and windows. However having never done this before I am somewhat nervous about using the finger technique to smooth it. I have had a look at some profiling tools but it seems very confusing as to what tool or what size profile would be best...

Thanks mate- was looking at the Fugi Kit as shown on YouTube by ultimate handyman which looks good as well.

Being a newb at this I will need a smoothing tool..The ones I have seen are small tools which would be useful for smaller gaps around sink etc. Any thoughts on what the right tool is for the job? It's large gaps I need to caulk. Thanks

So all the caulk on the outside of my doors and windows is in a sorry state. My plan is to replace it but not sure what's the best one to use- never done this before- the windows are wooden and are brown so looking for a colour which matches. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

So I have a really old sliding wardrobe which has wheels that have broken off. I have taken it off and looked at the back of it- pictures above. The problem is that I cannot find the wheels anywhere. Any thoughts on a fitting that could work? Thanks for any help

Are you advising to get a new shower tray that goes with a new door, would that be best? Should the hole in the tray be at the same point the current one is or would that not matter?

So my shower door needs replacing, someone told me it's not the door that you measure but the shower tray. Is this correct? I have measured the width from back wall along the side of the tray and diameter from middle of tray all the way down. This gives me 770mm width and 1000mm diameter. I...

See the blue screw bits in the picture- what tool is best to tighten it? My adjustable spanner is too small. I have other tools but these are too big- please see picture. Is there a tool I am missing? Or can they only be hand tightened?

No water keeps leaking from the blue plastic screw parts..

So I have a toilet which is overflowing outside through the overflow pipe. I lifted the top off to see what was happening- I seem to have identified the problem but not sure how to fix it. It's the blue plastic fitting on the right which seems to be leaking water, it's kinda hidden underneath...
