    Replacing garage threshold plinth . . . . . . . .

Hi Folks, looking for some advice please. The wooden plinth leading in to the garage is rotting as there appears to be water ingress underneath it so see no point in repainting etc . . . So, looking to replace it with a brick plinth, something like a brick plinth stretcher How easy would it...

    Coping stone catastrophe . . . . .

Thankyou. What is the recommended overhang? And what would 'proper sealant' be?

    Coping stone catastrophe . . . . .

Hi folks - due to leaks we had coping stones on a parapet wall above our garage replaced earlier this year. All seemed in order until the first frost. Now we have leaking more than before. Paving slabs with a drip groove cut in to them has been used. I don't think the person we hired has...

    What sort of glue . . . . . . . . . . ?

Hi Folks - a panel at the bottom of our cupboard has come loose. It's just glued on but the kettle has been used under it for a year or more and the glue fixing it in place has failed. What sort of glue would you recommend to fix it back in place? (We've re-sited the kettle). Many thanks...

    Connector needed, help please . . . . . .

Thanks folks. Yes stem is correct, it's going outside. I'll take it to a shop to have a straight version fitted cause I don't know what polarity means. Got two of them. Many thanks for your quick responses.

    Connector needed, help please . . . . . .

Hi Folks - looking to feed the cable in the photo through a brick air vent and the adaptor to the plug/transformer is just slightly too big to get in the hole. Would it be easy to cut the cable and fit a small connector? If so what sort of connector might I use. Any help would be appreciated...

    What's this please . . . . . . . . . . ?

The mains looking cable appears to head to where the chimney used to be (we took it down when we had the roof replaced). We don't have any cables coming to the house from poles on the pavement like other houses on the street. (Can you tell we're quite new in this house). We have a landline...
