Thank you for your prompt reply, unfortunately the leaky rad is in my daughter`s house some 40 miles away, I shall be going there later today & she is away at the moment I think the Worcester boiler is about 5 years old

Help somebody I have a leaking plug in the top of the radiator If I close the thermostatic & lockshield valves I should be able to withdraw the offending plug, use some PTFE tape & replace the plug without losing too much water Does that make sense? The boiler is a Worcester Combi Would I...
