Saw this and thought of you

Not been on here in ages but as the title says.... We've acquired a new unit recently, and this beauty happens to be in my workshop to be. Its fed from an Ancient Memway board (3x 20A BS3036) which in turn is fed from a 100A BS88 switchfuse. On the plus side, the ELFI isn't horrendous. :)

    freeze

Is it just I.E that causes this? When you say freeze, does it totally freeze i.e. no mouse pointer movement or no sound from the on board speaker. If so it can be a sign of overheating, and a good vac of the motherboard and some heatsink compound on the processor can sort this.

Holesaw composition for 5mm steel plate

Should be fine. When holesawing thick-ish steel, I usually make an initial ring with the holesaw (maybe 1mm deep) then drill several small holes within the ring. This gives the swarf somewhere to go allowing for a faster cut. Use a relativity slow speed and a lubricant such as Rocol RTD

    rewire

Depends what you've agreed, but normally the electrician should "make good" But if you are a plasterer, and feel more confident in your own work, just ask him / her to work this into the price. Cables don't have to be in capping as long as your not going to damage them with the trowel.

PLEASE HELP MY LAPTOP HAS THE BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH !!!!!!!!!

Could literally be anything, new driver or piece of software or a hardware problem. VPN clients are a common cause. When the blue screen occurs, there will be an actual error message at the top, posting this may give us a clue.
