Ok il see what they say,
For the connections for the camera, What product do i need to enclose the connectors outdoors?
Im after something discreet, iv seen some setup that have a waterproof box next to the camera. Is this the only solution?
Cheers for the reply.
I know a lot about I.T So am fine with that part.
Already have a dns setup to remote access other hardware.
Just the cctv cameras I'm confused about.
Just don't want to spend money and end up with a poor product.
As there's no samples of the video quality only...
Hi
Looking to get cctv for my house.
Iv seen these cameras:
http://www.cctvdirect.co.uk/products/Twilight-FLD-%252d-High-Resolution-700TVL-Vandal-IR-Dome.html
http://www.cctvdirect.co.uk/products/Twilight-VFD-%252d-700TVL%252d-Ultra-Low-Light-%252d-Adjustable-4%252d9mm-Lens.html...
Heres a pic from google images, This is not my house but is similiar.
The archway around the door is exactly the same.
I have put red arrows were i would place the cameras.
The one at the top would be pointing towards the driveway.
Thanks for replys
What would be a good camera for placing near front door?
To see who is at the door etc. The camera would be just under a meter away. Im thinking a dome camera would be good here?
