sorry do you mean other taps around house?kitchen and family bathroom. i can obviously tell you now that its a hell of a lot slower than the other hot taps in the house. maybe i have the wrong type of tap as i`ve just been on ebay and seen a similar tap what says not suitable for low...

just thought i forgot to say its a a single lever basin tap....and when i put it on cold its the same pressure as when i turn it to hot. the cold feed also supplies the toilet and shower which don`t suffer from low pressure.....thus making me wonder whether its the tap. can i strip this type of...

if i take a spur from junction box do i take it from circuit L+N with 1.5mm cable to a FCU(3 amp)then 1.5mm to fan

i understand what your saying m8...but surely i can just leave the extractor running and turn light off,rather than leaving light with extractor running for a while...the fan hasdn`t got a timer or anything.

hi all, im trying to install a bathroom extractor fan outside my cubicle..its currently set to come on with the light switch....very annoying. the lightiing circuit is on a junction box with both circuit cables,light cable and switch cable(and currently cable for fan) can i just disconnect...

yeah the main water line coming into property is earth bonded.and as you say the water pipe is cold only so won`t cause any heat to damage cable sheath.... thanks very much chri5 cheers magico

hi just wondering if you could put me mind at rest(hopefully). the shower in the ensuite - the cable and pipe are next to each other in the studded wall,they are touching..the cold water pipe is copper then pushfit pipe the cable sheath is in perfect condition.....are there any safety issues...

hi all, just a quickie.... my brother just brought round a plinth heater which he had stashed in his shed...is a plug with 13 amp fuse suitable to connect....sure its anything upto 3kw before hard wire.....heater works between 2200 - 2400 w cheers mark

no not gonna use it for anything else m8 so its ok to leave in till i get a blank and i`ll disconnect the earth in morning.. safe over night then? its only the earth afterall

i disconnected live and neutral and cut back as far as i could,the earth is still connected and the fuse still in. should i remove earth cut back and remove mcb or leave in?

after reading a few other threads i guess i should disconnect earth,cut back and remove fuse and use a blank plate to cover am i right?and is it safe the way it is till i get a blank any advice much appreciated
