Hi all, I've aquired a couple of cube wall lights off my mum who throwing them out, brand new in box, with no wiring guide.. My other half wants them for either side of our bed. I don't really wanna Chase all walls as we've not long since decorated,so was wondering whether it would be ok to convert to a plugs? Using a 13a plug with 3a fuse?Would each light need a seperate plug or connect 1 to the other?
Any help appreciated thanks.

Did this myself once. A bit of trunking, two architrave switches ( Independent switching then) some cable and away you go.
Bit rough unless you have a nice headboard and can keep everything out of sight as much as possible.

No tables, and nice lamps?

Nothing wrong with it electrically, just make sure the cables are adequately restrained.

Yes.

2 into 1 plug is acceptable as long as the wiring is done correctly.

Coloured coily mains wire can be a 'feature' in these situations.
