Have checked again, there is no grub screw.

I have turned to one side (parallel with base), but neck does not seem to move when I try to pull up/off. Doesn't seem to be any give in any position to move swan neck up & out.

Can you always change the O-ring seal on the swan neck on kitchen mixer taps ??

Had to replace the toilet inlet ball valve+tube mechanism as leaking at base. It's bottom entry with arm/ball valve, 11" height, from inlet thread tip to top of right angle going to arm. Checked at B&Q, they only had one version which was 12" height. Thought it would probably fit & bought...

I guess it depends when you apply the grease or cream. I was talking about the spade/blade connectors used on my car washer pump & indicator light. Thinking about it, I should make the connection, then apply grease/cream on top.

I guess you could use almost any grease/cream with oil, but would it affect conductivity between contacts, causing similiar problem another way ??
