Hi all, Two quick questions. Bought B&Q 1000 grade lining paper, quad roll. Then ran out and bought Wickes 1000 grade lining paper quad roll. B&Q much thicker !!! Surely they should both be the same 1000 grade thickness. Or am I imagining it ? Second question. I was lining a wall at home prior...

Done a few newly plastered walls / ceilings and I swear by Mc Phersons Eclipse Matt. 1st coat thinned about 20% 2nd coat thinned by about 10%......never really needed 3rd coat ....love the stuff tho my Johnstones / Leyland shop keep telling me it's crap and to use their Leyland Super Leytex but...

Just had a thought. How much white do I start with ? If I start with say two n a half litres how much yellow would i add ? But there again suppose it's a case of how yellow they want the white to be. Why does it make a difference which way round you add it i.e white to yellow or vice versa ?
