    Sorry, I'm sure it does have an earth, I'll check. Sooooooo.... would I be correct in removing the wire from the fuse box in order to isolate this switch. Or is there another way of isolating? Cheers :roll:

    Securespark thanks for the reply. From memory I would say the wiring is only about 1.0mm 1.5mm and doesn't have an earth with them. When you say radial do you mean it could been on with something else? The switch is nowhere near the place I want to go through the wall for the utility switches...

    Thanks for that Kevplumb. Looking at the gadget am I correct in thinking you just push the big end into the hole in the floor and cut out the top and insert the wash mc waste in there? Would it seal properly to stop any smells rising up and would the top of the soil shute need to be level...

    Thanks Spark Wow.! Plain english. Is supplementry bonding the answer to my question 2? If so, providing the shower earth is 4mm can this bonding earth be taken from a lighting feed? and are you saying I don't need to connect an earth from the mains earth to bathroom pipes.
