    Thanks for the reply. There is an earth and I realise that the black with the red sleeve should go to the live. The two plain black wires are twisted together. I am fitting a three quid plastic pendant from B and Q.

    Hello, I am trying to replace a light fitting with a traditional pendant fitting and lampshade. I have taken the old fitting off and have found a Rayuan EN-80a transformer wired up as in the photo. How do I wire up the pendant with the wires shown? Thank you Philip

    Hiya thanks for the post and help. I managed to get it started with a pair of grips. I have managed to get the new one installed and plumbed in quickly. I had to remove the kick boards and put the new dishwasher in place before putting the kick boards back. Thank you

    I have just replaced the light fitting in our ensuite but the 240/115 V shaver/electric toothbrush and the extractor fan do not work. Does the lighting circuit normally supply the fan and shaver point ? Thanks in advance, Philip

    I have just regrouted due to discolouration of the original grout in my ensuite shower cubicle. Unfortunately, after only one shower some of the grout has washed away and there is a potentially a leak. Why has the grout washed away ? Have I not mixed it correctly or has the grout powder gone...

    Thank you for your reply. There is a very slight leak at the right angle bend in the copper pipe. Hence my need to replace all of the copper. I cannot remove the copper pipe from tge plastic compression fitting at the bottom of the photo. Thank you for your patience.
