    Loft Boiler Installation Issues

Many thanks guys for all your advice. Only the one installer mentioned the positioning as an issue...he must sleep with the regs manual (or whatever it is) under his pillow..was reeling of regs all the time, even criticised the the height of gas fire flues he saw on the property saying they...

I've been told that when replacing a boiler it is is a good idea to power flush the system to remove rust and sludge...problem is it seems to be quite an expensive procedure with installers quoting £300-500 on the price of installation, with some saying it is a specialist procedure and don't do...

    Best Boilers

Not too sure but I believe Ideal and Glowworm do have the pumps as optional fittings - are those makes considered top quality? It is Atmos that do the the "squirt" design, but only on the horizontal thru-wall concentric flue...typically I would need it to be a vertical flue on mine! :(...

    External rcd socket

Yes, as far as protection goes. But if I'm in the garden and cut through the mower cable it would be easier to just reset the external socket rcd than go inside and reset the CU rcd which would have turned off many other appliances when tripped. The question is would both RCDs be caused to...
