Would it be advisable (or of any value) to PVA Unibond the newly skimmed walls in a kitchen before painting?...if so, what sort of dilution is best?

There is NO need to apply PVA on new plaster, also i do not recomend it. Best thing to do is buy Dulux Trade Vinyl Matt in any colour and follow tub instructions. Then one year on or so, coat your walls with the same colour but use Dulux Trade Vinyl Soft Sheen this time as it washable.
