    Thanks Hugh, I had looked at that but I have no movement in the pipe at all as I have attempted to move it upwards. I don't know if I would be able to get enough slack on the pipe to insert it into the slip coupling both ends.

    Can anyone tell me the best way to fix 80mm thick insulation board over the rafters? I have to put 50mm between the rafters which is no problem but to fix 80mm over this would need 150mm drywall screws. Is there anything else out there that would d the job?

    I have been instructed to use 80mm Celotex GA2000 under my rafters (in addition to 50mm) I cannot find GA2000. Is GA 4000 better. Can I use this instead?

    wood classification for loft floor.

    No it was not full plans. The span is less than 2.5m so I think C16 is okay. Plus the joists will be doubled up as trimming around the stairs. However non of the spans are greater than 2.7m.
