We had our bedroom plastered about 2 months ago, and now we have just started to paint the wall. The walls are fully dried and pinky.
The problem we are facing is, after we put on the fist under coat with a normal white paint, we than noticed dark patches on the wall everywhere...

We are in the process of installing same new Rad's all of them with new TVR's.
Question, do we need to balance the system after installation?
I read something from a previous post on this site that with TVR's you do not need to balance the system.

It is it better to insulate floor with Thermal under lay for laminate flooring and than put the carpet under lay on top of that? And finally lay the carpet.
Will this be good thing to do?
Objective is to stop draught and have a warm floor.

You say to leave the door in a room for 4 weeks before fitting, but the door must have been kept in the store for more than 4 weeks, shouldn’t this reduce the moisture content? Or is there temperature difference? :shock:

When laying laminate flooring for kitchen do you have to use the same principle leaving 10mm from the skirting board as well?
2nd question, Can you screw into floorboard rather than using nailing?, I’m just thinking may be screw will be much stronger than nail and easy to unscrew if needed...
When the boiler is serviced, exactly what work is carried out in side the boiler.
For example is it, heat exchange, gas pressure, sludge, pilot light, ignition, etc……….. is this all included in the service?

I have spoken to my Local Plumber merchant on this but also appreciate your thought on this as well.
Boiler is 24kw - and the total btu output of rad's is 50,000 my local Plumber merchant said 24kw boiler should be fine...
