    One way to two way

Thanks guys! Good job I asked before the plasterer comes ;) So - I've had a read up, and for the benefit of the donut  (thats me) leave all existing wiring in place and run a new cable from the downstairs switch to the new upstairs switch. Sounds easy, doesn't it... :o

    One way to two way

I hope I have the terminology right! I've been reading up on the previous posts etc, and think I will be able to cope, but need some reassurance! Scenario; Upstairs landing has a one switch light switch that controls the landing light. Downstairs hallway has two switches. One to...

    Massive condensation

I also sorted this out on Friday night as it wasn't working. Their bathroom extractor now comes on with the light...They were having to open the window when having baths / showers etc... My sister now wishes her other half wasn't quite so useless when it comes to DIY... :o

    Laminate tile effect flooring

I'm sorry if I'm covering (covering, get it!) ahem, old ground here, but, I am currently laying a laminate tile effect wooden floor throughout my dining area, kitchen and conservatory, all in one continious hit. The problem is, I don't know what to do about the end of kitchen work-surface...

    GAS OVEN WIRING

Morning all, Please could someone answer my quick question? Do I need to run the thick 10amp cooker wire when installing a gas oven, or will the regualar 2.5amp wire suffice? Is this the case? I'm only using the electics to power the clock/timer aren't I? T.I.A.
