    What are these clips called?

In the video he just calls them "Special lugs". There is one type for the bottom panel and another for the top panel. I would like some. See: http://youtu.be/s4SHYM52vhY?t=2m11s

Advice on soundproofing a bathroom on a budget

I have just had all new internal doors fitted and they have helped to reduce noise by quite a lot. They are called Premdor Safe N Sound doors. They are very heavy but you don't notice that once they are fitted. A local Jewsons ordered them in for me. They were about £40 each and free...

How to make a coloured bathroom suite look good?

I would replace it with a white one. It might cost you £500 but you might get £1k or more for the house than you would have done. It will also make it more likely to sell.

    Downstairs loo/cloakroom make over

I am just about to start a similar thing to you. I too have bought a big flush plate. I intend to put mine on the front to show it off ;) The lid on top of the cistern can then be used as a shelf. I might one day put a cabinet on the wall above the WC.

Which pump from the hot water cylinder to the hot taps?

I phoned Salamander and asked them which pump I should get. They said the Salamander ESP80 CPV Single Pump 2.4 Bar. I can't work out why that one instead of the RGP80 2.4 bar. They said because the cold would be off the mains. I can't see why it would make any difference on a single pump...

Which pump from the hot water cylinder to the hot taps?

Would this one work for what I want to do? (pump from the hot water cylinder to the whole house?) http://www.salamander-pumps.com/complete-pump-range/rgp-pumps/rgp80-single-booster-pump.html

Which pump from the hot water cylinder to the hot taps?

That looks good, but it says "typically adds between 0.5 bar and 0.75 bar pressure". Is a more powerfull one available?

Which pump from the hot water cylinder to the hot taps?

On my hot water cylinder tank it says "tested to 1.45 bar". Does this mean that I can only put a 1.45 bar water pump on it or can I put on a higher rating?

Which pump from the hot water cylinder to the hot taps?

My cold water pressure is OK (all cold water taps are off the mains) but the hot water from the hot water cylinder tank is weak pressure all around the bungalow. I just want to increase the pressure of the hot water from the water cylinder (which is about 18" off the floor in the airing...

Please help solve my problem of finding internal door to fit

I have just had a new hall carpet fitted but the fitters had to take off the door to the toliet room. I want to change all the internal doors anyway (they are currently totally flat and a dark wood effect) and I would like to change them to modern white 6 pannel doors that you'd...

Use a Grohne 1000 shower on mains cold with hot from tank?

In the descriprion it says "Built-In Non Return Valves; Dirt Strainers; Protected Against Backflow" I thought that the non-return valves would stop it from doing that?

Use a Grohne 1000 shower on mains cold with hot from tank?

I notice that the Grohne 1000 thermostatic mixer showers have "Built in non-return valves". Does this mean that I could legally use it with: Cold water: from the mains. Hot water: from tank (possibly add a pump to it)?

Need a concealed cistern loo to fit a recess -photo included

I have seen shallow depth 600mm WC units for sale but it seems a real problem trying to get the filler bits to match and for a reasonable price. I have a quote to do it like that in white gloss for £450 (inc loo) + £200 for fitting.

Need a concealed cistern loo to fit a recess -photo included

Yes, that is a good idea but I wouldn't fancy having to tile the flat face. Is there anything really posh looking that I could use as the flat face (rather than tiles)?

Need a concealed cistern loo to fit a recess -photo included

I would like a new toilet with a concealed cistern to fit the recess (shown in my photo) and to hide the pipes. I want it to look posh but for as little money as possible. The recess is W660mm x D240mm. I have seen toliet units of 600mm wide but that would leave a space down the...
