Yeah I`m sure they are, well 99%! No other Honda engine that I have ever worked on (I`m an ex Honda Tech) had shims, Honda provide a special tool, a T shaped socket with a hole down the middle to fit your flat blade screwdriver down to adjust then hold the tappet while you tighten the lock nut...
Whats with the **** taking?? New style aero wipers are even simpler than conventional wipers to remove! They arnt a go faster accessory lol!
As for the original question - As far as I`m aware there is no locking device available unfortunately.
Jap battery clamps are rubbish! Something like the product on this page would to nicely! http://www.holden.co.uk/displayproduct.asp?pCode=080.022#
Oh and make sure you do get a positive clamp as neg claps are smaller!
Hi all, replacing some worn out caps on a TV, I`m obviously familiar with the spec of the cap i.e 1000uf 25V 105C etc but also written on the cap is this....
505B(M)
written on a similar 1000uf 25V 105C is....
504D(M)
What does this mean? Ta!
^^^^^^^^^^ This is spot on advice! If you can persuade someone to buy you one then tear there arm off but never part with your own cash for one :)
I remember always wanting a 155 because as a kid I used to watch them blast around in BTCC and alter on I really liked the 156 but they are just...
Hi Spark
I think the idle is controlled by the throttle body and that has been cleaned out, I think the TB is the favourite suspect for the rough/poor idle and this fault code.
Damn Renaults lol!!
A friends Renault Clio 182 (2.0L F4R) has a fault code stored, code is 0308 Bi mode air inlet solenoid valve.
Can anyone tell me what and where this is on this engine?? Any Renault techs on here? I worked as a Renault tech for 12 months and did not hear of this part
Yes they do and yes they could! The only reason an outer split CV gaitor is an MOT fail is because grease could find its way onto the brakes, as far as I know the inner gaiter is not part of the test.
Play in the diff! Thats not part of an MOT test! Transmission wise all that is required on the MOT is for the car to move! There could be an MOT issue if the gearbox is leaking oil excessively but otherwise its not part of the test.
