nissan almera 2001 gearstick and car shaking

I purchased a Nissan almera from a mate 2 years ago and its been working relatively well, not really had any issues, apart from a faint "vacuum" type noise which I was told by mechanic was the fuel pump. However recently, I've noticed the gear stick vibrates, or moves intermittently when i'm on...

Saunier Duval boiler pressure gauge shooting up to the red!

lol no the actual valve was faulty, even though it was in closed position, it was still letting water through. This is why I always say never touch anything to do with the boiler/heating. even messing with the filling loop can cause problems.

Saunier Duval boiler pressure gauge shooting up to the red!

I'm no expert but went on a job with a boiler engineer a while back and they had the same problem. The pressure would shoot upto to 3bar, then drop down. then fill up to 3, then suddenly drop. It was dumping water out of the overflow/safely valve pipe. Turns out the fault was with the...

New Vaillant Eco Tech Pro 24 clicking

Hi, a friend had a Vailant eco tech pro 24 installed about 6 months back. Although its brand new, and was installed by a Gas Safe engineer, the boiler makes an odd "clicking" noise when the hot water tap is opened. When central heating is on, theres no noise. Only on hot water. The noise sounds...

Looking for some advice on tiling around the bath

This should have been discussed and detailed before the tiling was started, once it was clear the walls were not in a good state. The fitter is at fault here, but unfortunately its too late now. The tiling looks like a good job though, looks level and evenly spaced. But the gaps on the bottom...

HELP!! No hot water in kitchen mixer.. Ok elsewhere!! ??

The flexi pipe (where it connects onto the isolation valve) will have a rubber washer, you wont need an olive on that end. However the other end of the valve, with the olive, may not fit 100% snug with the old olive, so its probably better to cut the pipe cut below the old olive, remove that bit...
