    worcester 24i

The 24i dosen't have a plate h/ex. The only other reason could be the filling loop letting by as has been said. Not being confused with the Junior is it?

    New consumer unit

I've been informed by an electrican that if I extend or add a circuit to my existing ring main that I need to upgrade my consumer unit to RCD. It currently has a Memera MCB unit(about 20 yrs old). Still has a couple of blank outlets as well. Is that right?

Vokera Flowmatic 20/80 rs no hot water

Remove the switch from the pump ch/pump flow switch and push in and out with pliers (being careful not to scratch it). The spindles can get dirty and not move smoothly. You might also find the pump might be weak.

Baxi Combi 80e "Hot then Cold" Fault on Fan or Flu

Had the same problem this week on a Baxi 105e. It was the pcb. Worked ok till it reached temperature and then when it tried to relight the power to the fan was intermittent and the flue/fan light started to flash.

Baxi Genises 80 Combi ramdomly cuts out

Same boiler as a Britony Combi. As said, sensor/flow switch regular faults on these but does sound like a pcb problem. But it is very intermittent so you might have to live with it :)

There is dirt in the water pressure sensor. It needs taking out and cleaning. A common fault on this model. Get yourself a gas engineer.

    Sealed system expansion vessel question(s)

Because sealed systems require an overheat stat. Don't think Mk2 Flamingos had them.
