    german kitchen door hinges

sorted it thanks, the hinge base has two integral aluminium expansion plugs which go into the board of the unit, two threaded pins then go in to open up the plug, then the heads are cut off flush, good idea until you want to remove them!! introduced them to a cutting wheel on a dremel which has...

    german kitchen door hinges

I am carrying out modifications to a Poggenpohl kitchen, the cabinet hinges appear to have some hidden screw system to fasten them onto the cabinet, once you take the door off, there are what looks like two threaded pins but no means of turning them, I need to take them off, any ideas??

efficiency of vented as opposed to closed system?

Can anyone tell me the difference in efficiency between a closed system and vented, ours is vented at the moment and I'm considering whether it's worth altering it to sealed system (expansion vessel, prv and filling loop with guage)

Adding a socket: finding the ring route

generally speaking yes all sockets should be rcd protected, along with all cables buried in a wall, not going to get into quoting regs as I haven't time, (got a pint with my name on it) look up ring circuit continuity tests (which can be done at each outlet as well as at the CU), maintenance...

Adding a socket: finding the ring route

This could be opening a right can of worms, do you know how to test for ring circuit continuity? then you can find out if indeed it is a ring, what rating of mcb is the circuit on? this can "sometimes" give you a clue And there are some junction boxes which can be used where they will be...

    Thermacon 90/120 cuts out

Can anyone give us a bit of advice, a friend has a Thermacon 90/120 which cuts out after being run for 30 seconds, the plumbing (water) side of things I understand, along with the electrical side, not looked at it myself yet as it's not local to me, but is there anything obvious I need to be...
